Today we have published our research report into the impact of COVID-19 on children and young people in Scotland, which shows that Scotland’s children and young people are feeling increasingly isolated in lockdown, as restrictions continue.
We’re excited to announce that we’ve adapted our 2020 report calling for ‘rights respecting’ reform to Scotland’s youth justice system into a version for younger readers, giving them an understanding of the issues and challenges around Scotland’s youth justice system.
A practical guide to service user involvement in community justice that can contribute to service innovation, and help recovery and support desistance from offending, has been produced by the University of Strathclyde and the Centre for Youth & Criminal Justice (CYCJ).
